This handsome 6-month-old shepherd mix, weighing 22 lbs and expected to reach 35-50 lbs as an adult, is a classic Potcake from St. Lucia, known for his loyalty, intelligence, and affectionate nature. Like many island pups, Tater Tot can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar places, but with patience and kindness, his sweet personality shines through. Once he feels safe, he is full of joy, affection, and cuddles. He has a gentle, laid-back nature and would love a family that understands that trust is built through patience and love. Tater Tot especially enjoys having canine companions around, as other dogs help him build confidence and he loves to run, play, and simply enjoy being a happy puppy.

Tater Tot is leash trained and house trained. He is a bit shy with new people and places, so patience and kindness are key to helping him build confidence. He also benefits greatly from the company of other dogs.
