Delic has traveled all the way from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, to Maine in search of a fresh start. This shy boy is still adjusting to the many changes in his life and will need a patient family who can give him the time and space he needs to settle in. Consistent routines and a calm environment will help Delic feel safe, secure, and comfortable enough to let his personality shine. He has done well living with a toddler in his foster home and could be a match for a family with children who understand how to interact appropriately with dogs, including giving them space when needed, recognizing when they are uncomfortable, and engaging in calm, gentle interactions. With patience, understanding, and a predictable routine, Delic will grow into a confident and loving companion.
