Hazel

Meet Hazel! This sweet 1-2 year old pit bull mix is a resilient survivor who was found as a stray, underweight and injured. Thanks to the kindness of some wonderful people, she's now healthy and ready to find her forever home! Hazel is deaf, but this has absolutely no impact on her zest for life. She's an energetic and friendly girl who adores children and gets along well with other dogs. In her foster home, she's diligently learning her manners, excelling at potty training and leash walking, all while soaking up much-needed love and attention. She's even picking up sign language! Hazel is a smart cookie who learns quickly and is eager for her happy ending. We promised Hazel the rest of her life would be the best of her life, and we hope you can make that a reality for her.

Ideal Home

Hazel loves kids and other dogs, so a home with a canine sibling and children would be wonderful for her.

Hazel is a healthy girl who has recovered well from her past hardships.

Training & Support

Hazel is mastering potty training and leash walking in her foster home and is learning sign language. She is a smart and fast learner!

Transporation

Hazel is located in South Carolina and is transported to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
