Grub

Meet Grub! This brave 4-month-old mixed breed was found as a stray and arrived emaciated with wounds from an animal attack. He was rushed to our vet for immediate care and is now on the road to healing! Despite his ordeal, Grub is a resilient fighter with a sweet, affectionate, friendly, and brave spirit. He's now thriving in a loving foster home and is ready to find his forever family.

Grub is described as a "Best Sweet Boy" with a very cute underbite. He's intelligent, fearless (unbothered by fireworks!), fun-loving, and a true lap dog who enjoys snuggling. He's also independent and adventurous, but always comes when called. His energetic nature makes him a great playmate for children, and he'd also be a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys hiking.

Ideal Home

Grub would thrive in an active home where he can be a playmate and adventure buddy. He has shown he is great with children.

Ongoing Health

Grub has healed from his initial injuries sustained as a stray. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Grub is a smart and quick learner, as evidenced by him figuring out a senior dog ramp immediately. He's generally adventurous but responsive when called.

Transporation

Grub is currently in South Carolina and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet.
