Meet Bruce! This gentle, playful, and oh-so-lovable 5-year-old, approximately 59 lb bundle of joy is the definition of a loyal companion. Bruce absolutely adores humans of all sizes and is also dog-friendly, especially with those of similar stature. He’s playful, affectionate, and already house and crate trained, making him a wonderful addition to many homes. Bruce has a history of being a social butterfly at events, making friends easily and proving he's ready for a family to call his own. He's eager to give you his all, he just needs the chance to be chosen.

Ideal Home

Bruce loves humans of all sizes and is dog-friendly. However, he should not be placed in a home with cats or small dogs, as his compatibility with them is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Bruce is fully vetted, including vaccinations, spay or neuter, and microchip, before leaving rescue.

Training & Support

Bruce is still mastering his leash skills but is very food-motivated and eager to learn. He will thrive with a patient owner who can guide him through his training. We recommend practicing the 3-3-3 Rule when bringing Bruce home, as adopted dogs need time and understanding to decompress in a new environment.

Transportation

Bruce is currently located in the Houston Metro area. Transport is available to select cities in WA, IA, NY, NJ, NH, MA, CT, VT, and PA, and is included in the adoption fee.
