Rowan is an 11-week-old German Shepherd Dog mix puppy with a playful and affectionate spirit, eager to embark on his next adventure with a loving forever family. He delights in all the classic puppy joys: exploring new sights and sounds, romping with toys, enjoying cozy naps, and discovering the world with curious paws. Rowan is searching for a family that understands the importance of patience, guidance, and positive training as he grows. In return, he promises to offer unconditional love and a lifetime of loyal companionship. At 11 weeks, he's at a crucial stage for learning and development. In just a few weeks, after completing his third round of vaccinations, Rowan will be ready to safely explore public places like parks, pet-friendly stores, training classes, and neighborhood walks. This is the perfect time to begin socialization, helping him build confidence and learn how to interact positively with new people, dogs, and environments. Rowan was rescued with his four siblings and their devoted mother after they were at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding in a Houston shelter. Fortunately, they were given the second chance they so deserved.

Ongoing Health
Rowan is fully vetted for his age. His neuter surgery is pending and will be completed once he is at least 12 weeks old, following our rescue's veterinary protocol. He will continue receiving all age-appropriate veterinary care through our rescue. Rowan will be fully vetted before traveling out of state. This includes three rounds of vaccines, neuter surgery, microchip, deworming, and current heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Rowan is at a crucial stage for learning and development. This is the perfect age to begin socialization, helping him build confidence and learn how to interact with new people, dogs, sights, sounds, and environments.
