Shiro

Meet Shiro! This handsome Boxer mix has a big personality and an even bigger heart. Shiro is an affectionate and loyal boy who absolutely loves being close to his humans and will happily cover you in kisses any chance he gets. He is full of life and energy, and one of his cutest traits is his happy little butt wiggle and playful hops when he gets excited. He truly loves to love! While he enjoys playtime and activity, he's also just as content curling up on the couch for some downtime with his favorite people. Shiro was saved from the euthanasia list at Harris County Pets in Houston, Texas, and is now safe in foster care while waiting for his forever home.

Ideal Home

Shiro would do best in an only-dog home or with a calm, gentle female dog. He can be selective with other dogs, especially those with high energy.

Ongoing Health

Shiro is fully vetted, neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been maintained on heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Shiro is house trained, crate trained, and keeps his space tidy. He is smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn. He already knows commands like "sit," has a quick recall, and responds well to structure and consistency. He enjoys treats, cozy dog beds, blankets, and a good chew toy.
