Meet Tashi, an adorable Shih Tzu who is ready to find a loving home where she is treasured! Tashi means "good fortune" in Tibetan, which is fitting since her forever human will be very lucky! Tashi is looking to become her new human's best friend.
Tashi is the sweetest little girl who is looking for a quiet forever home with either a single human or a calm couple. Tashi starts out very shy and will need a few days to warm up to new humans, so a patient human who will work to earn her trust is a must! Once her trust has been gained, Tashi is truly a special girl whose affectionate and loyal nature is typical of her breed. Her foster mom has worked extremely hard in socializing her with humans and with other animals. We hope to find a forever family where her humans will continue to work with her to help her to understand that the world can be a kind and loving place. Tashi gets along well with other dogs and cats. Her more confident foster siblings really help her to feel more confident, so she'd be happy in a forever home with another dog, but we know that she'd be equally happy as an only dog. She does very well on leash too! Tashi is 5 years old and weighs 14lbs. She loves treats and sleeps happily in her crate at night. She is a fantastic car rider and loves to look out of the windows at the world like the perfect Passenger Princess. She is potty trained, does very well on leash, and has learned to trust her foster mom to groom her! Tashi is ready to find a patient home where she will be loved forever.
