Pax is a handsome, 78 lb American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a whole lot of love to give! This enthusiastic and social boy treats every day like a celebration. He's a devoted shadow who loves to be by your side, ensuring you'll never binge-watch a show alone again. Pax is the ultimate hang-out dog, always ready with a silly antic or a snuggle.

Ideal Home

Pax would thrive in a home with children 10 and up due to his occasional clumsiness and his enthusiastic nature. He is also looking for a home with a low to medium energy dog who enjoys play and naps.

Training & Support

Pax is crate and potty trained and has shown to be a great big brother to the teens in his foster home. He does have a mild fear of missing out when his humans leave, but he is very motivated by his love for his people and desire to be part of the action. Pax is also leash-trained and a toy enthusiast, especially with plush toys.

Transportation

Pax is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via the rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Pickup locations for Canadian adopters are in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
