Meet Bonnie!
This beautiful 1-year-old girl weighs about 53 pounds and has the perfect blend of sweetness, affection, and playful puppy charm. Bonnie is a loving companion who enjoys being close to her people and is always ready for pets, attention, and quality time together. Bonnie can be a little shy when faced with new situations, but her friendly nature shines through quickly. She recently attended an adoption event where she met lots of new people and animals. While she was occasionally unsure, she handled everything beautifully, often checking in with her person for reassurance before bravely continuing her adventures. Her trust and desire to connect make her incredibly endearing. She has balanced energy and enjoys walks, playtime, exploring the yard, and watching birds and squirrels. After some activity, she settles nicely and enjoys relaxing with her family. Bonnie is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, making her an easy addition to a home. Bonnie gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends.

Bonnie would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can safely explore and play. A somewhat quieter household would help her continue building confidence, though she enjoys being part of daily activities and family life.

Training & Support
Like many young dogs, she still has some puppy habits and can get excited during play, occasionally using her mouth when interacting. She is learning appropriate manners and responds well to gentle guidance and redirection. She already knows "sit" and is working on additional commands. Affection is one of her favorite rewards, and she loves being praised by her people.
