Reign Beau Bear is a handsome boy who was found tied to our fence on New Year's Eve. He initially seemed a bit insecure and tentative, but after a week with us, we learned more about his past. Reign was rescued from an abusive home by a kind Samaritan. It appears he may have been introduced to new people and love too quickly, which unfortunately led to him escalating to "top dog" status, resulting in a couple of bites and a dogfight. We're taking things slow with Reign and believe he would thrive in a Rottweiler-savvy, female-only home. He's not yet a confident dog and needs to experience the positive things he might have missed out on in his first home. Long, gentle hikes would be ideal for building his confidence. Once he settles in, a basic obedience class would be a great starting "job" for him. Reign is learning a little bit more each day, and we're not looking to rush his adoption. We'd love for his future family to be able to do several meet-and-greets and overnights to ensure a slow and comfortable transition.
