Zaya is a beautiful 4-year-old Aussiedoodle with a gentle heart and a quiet soul. She can be shy when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, she slowly begins to trust and show her sweet personality. Zaya weighs 31 lbs and is spayed. She is crate trained and happiest in a peaceful environment where she can relax and learn that the world is a safe place. Zaya is often described as being more cat-like than dog-like because of her independent nature and quiet personality. She previously lived with a cat and enjoys the company of other dogs. Her previous owner's living situation changed, leading her to rescue.

Ideal Home

Zaya is looking for a calm home where she can move at her own pace and finally feel safe. She would do best with adults who understand shy dogs and will let her build confidence at her own pace. She is not ideal for busy, chaotic homes or people expecting an outgoing dog immediately. She requires a secure, fenced yard and has moderate exercise needs, including daily walks and backyard time.

Ongoing Health

Zaya has a chicken allergy and must be kept on a diet free from chicken.

Training & Support

Zaya needs leash experience and a patient adopter who can help her build confidence. She thrives on a calm routine.
