Ferguson

Ferguson is an absolutely adorable 4-year-old French bulldog who came to us from another rescue. When Ferguson arrived, he was unable to walk and had no use of his back legs. A visit to our vet revealed he has intervertebral disc disease, which caused weakness and pain in his back end. Fortunately, he does not require surgery! Ferguson has recently achieved a HUGE milestone – he can now stand and is walking! He continues to gain strength daily. Despite his challenges, Ferguson is one of the sweetest, most loving boys you could ever meet! He's a friendly and playful pup who gets along well with other dogs and is always happy to see you. This goofball still has a journey ahead, but with his fighting spirit and unending love, Ferguson will undoubtedly thrive! We promised Ferguson that the rest of his life would be the best of his life. Could you be the one to give him that happy ending?

Ferguson has intervertebral disc disease, which has caused weakness and pain in his back end. He is not in need of surgery. He is gaining strength daily and his ability to stand and walk is a recent and significant improvement.

Training & Support

Ferguson is still gaining strength and has a road ahead of him. He will benefit from a loving and supportive environment as he continues to build his strength and mobility.

Transportation

Ferguson is located in Columbia, South Carolina. Transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
