He didn't have the easiest start in life, but he is learning all about people and other dogs and making big strides! Apricot is crate-trained, housebroken, and walks nicely on a leash. He has a moderate energy level, happy to join you for walks and playtime, but also excellent at settling down for snuggles and naps. Apricot is a certified cuddle bug who loves following his humans around and being part of whatever you’re doing. He enjoys meeting new people and can be a little cautious at first, but once he warms up, his loving and goofy personality shines. Apricot is cautious with new dog friends, so he’d do best with calm, patient canine companions, or he’d be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as your one and only. He’s best suited for homes with older kids. Whether you live in an apartment or a house, Apricot will adjust beautifully. He’s smart, eager to please, and still learning about the world—a wonderful mix of playful curiosity and easy companionship. Apricot is part of a puppy litter that someone was giving away for free. Our rescue admitted them to ensure they have proper medical care and find loving homes.

Transporation
Apricot is located in Cary, NC. Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions. We prefer applicants live within an hour's drive of Cary, NC, as our dogs must be seen by a veterinarian in the Cary area for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.
