Meet Ziggy, a magnificent 4-year-old, 126-pound merle Great Dane/mastiff mix with a heart as big as his stature and a soul full of sweetness. Despite his impressive size, Ziggy is a champion snuggler who thrives on affection, loves to offer his paw, and is always ready for a good cuddle. He's also an enthusiastic adventure companion, enjoying car rides, joining in on errands, and letting his ears flap in the breeze with his head out the window (a doggy seatbelt is a must for this handsome fellow!). Ziggy is crate trained, food motivated, and a joy to train. He happily settles on his dog bed at work and is a low-maintenance boy at home, even putting himself to bed and entertaining himself with his toys.
Ideal Home
Ziggy would thrive in a home with a confident, experienced adopter who understands leadership, structure, and decompression. He needs a home that can help him feel safe and build his confidence. Due to some past experiences that may have left him fearful of new things, he would do best in an adult-only home or a home without young children, though a high schooler might be a good fit. He absolutely adores men and would likely do well in a home that appreciates his playful wrestling. A home with Great Dane or giant breed experience would be a significant plus.
