Waverly

Waverly is a 6-year-old, 23 lb Poodle or Doodle mix who is a survivor of a puppy mill. She's a little shy but warms up to handling. Waverly would love a patient family to show her what a wonderful life as a beloved pet can be.

Ideal Home

Waverly would thrive in a home with a patient family and a fenced yard for her safety. She gets along with other dogs but could also be happy as the only pet.

Training & Support

Waverly needs to work on leash walking and is still learning about life as a pet. She can be shy and may need time to adjust to new environments and people. She also barks when kenneled with other dogs but is quiet when alone. Patience and positive reinforcement will be key to her adjustment.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Please do not set up an appointment to meet animals until you are ready to take your pet home.
• If the meeting results in a match, you can often take the dog home the same day or within a couple of days if medical care hasn't been completed.
• We are not able to hold pets for adopters beyond this time.
• We have a 30-day trial period. If the adoption isn't a good match, the adoption fee will be refunded minus $100 within 30 days of the return of the dog.
• If you are unable or unwilling to care for Waverly at any time, she must be returned to us.

Transportation

Waverly is located in Mukwonago, WI. Adopters must be willing to drive to meet and adopt her. We adopt primarily in WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI. We do not ship our pets.
