Lucy

Meet Lucy, a beautiful 3.5-year-old Lab Mix weighing around 66 lbs. Lucy's journey to us was a tough one; she was found wandering the streets and sadly injured by a car, fracturing her hip. Fortunately, her hip has healed completely on its own, and you'd never know she went through such an ordeal! Lucy is a loving and laid-back companion indoors. She absolutely adores people and children, and her favorite activities include going for walks, exploring the woods, taking car rides, and swimming!

Ideal Home

Lucy would thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of love and activity. While she's getting better on a leash, she can sometimes be distracted by wildlife, so a secure yard would be wonderful. Because Lucy can be a bit selective with other dogs, we feel she would be happiest as the only dog in the home. Her foster is also working on building her relationship with the cats in the home, so any progress there will be a bonus!

Ongoing Health

Lucy's hip fracture has fully healed, and she shows no lingering effects. She is spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and on preventatives.

Training & Support

Lucy is house-trained and crate-trained, making her a wonderful addition to any household. While she's improving with leash walking, some continued training to manage distractions from squirrels and other wildlife will be beneficial.
