Nacho

Nacho is a wonderful 10-month-old boy who weighs around 60 pounds and is a real sweetheart! He's a "Velcro dog," meaning he's incredibly loyal and loves to be by your side. Nacho is also doing great with potty training and kennel training. He's heartworm negative and will be neutered before he heads to his new home. He walks beautifully on a leash and is very food-motivated, making him a joy to train. Nacho is good at matching the energy of his companions, whether that's people or other dogs.

Ideal Home

Nacho would thrive in a home where he can get daily exercise through runs or walks. He gets along well with his foster sister but would need to be introduced slowly to any new doggy friends. While he's not tested with cats, he does not need to be homed with small children. He can sometimes swat for attention, which we believe is a puppy phase, but he's improving.

Ongoing Health

Nacho is heartworm negative and will be neutered prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Nacho is kennel and potty trained and walks great on a leash. He is very food motivated, making training easy, especially with hand-feeding. He does occasionally swat for attention, but this is improving, and he's a loyal companion who wants to be with his people.
