About PIPER

Piper is a stunning 6-year-old, 60-pound German Shepherd who is ready to trade her waiting game for a lifetime of love! She's gracefully moved beyond the puppy stage and is now in her prime, offering the perfect blend of playful energy, unwavering loyalty, and sweet affection. Piper will happily join in on a game of fetch and then settle down contentedly by your side, just soaking in your presence.

This beautiful girl had her heart broken when she was abandoned, but her spirit remains unbroken. Piper greets each day with an optimistic heart, hopeful that her forever family is just around the corner. She's already mastered essential skills: she's fully vaccinated, reliably house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is wonderful with children. While she may initially present as a little reserved and put on a brave face when meeting new people, don't be fooled! Beneath that shy exterior is a gentle soul yearning for security and affection. Her absolute favorite pastimes include a lively game of fetch, carrying her beloved gingerbread toy, and simply enjoying time with her people. All Piper asks for in return is a cozy bed, some fun toys, and a promise that she'll never be left behind again.

Piper would be happiest as the only dog in the household or with a canine companion of a similar size or larger.
