Meet Teddy – Available for Adoption or Foster to Adopt!
Teddy is a 2-year-old, 45-50lb bundle of joy looking for his next adventure and forever family. He's a sweetheart who gets along well with other dogs and is described as friendly and sociable. Teddy has no resource guarding, food aggression, or reactivity, making him a wonderful companion. He's active, agile, and would be an excellent partner for hiking, adventure sports, or even skijoring! In the home, he's quiet and well-mannered, and he's extremely smart and takes correction very well. Teddy is also potty trained and crate trained, and his vaccinations are up to date; he's also neutered and microchipped.
Ideal Home
Teddy's ideal home is with an experienced dog owner who understands the importance of consistent guidance, patience, and structure. He would thrive with a family who can keep up with his physical needs, offer plenty of outdoor activity, and provide mental stimulation to match his intelligence. An active, nature-loving home that enjoys hiking, adventuring, and regular exercise would be the perfect fit for him. He will need someone who can give him time to adjust into his new routine and is comfortable providing calm, fair correction. He would do well as an only dog or living alongside another respectful dog companion. Teddy is looking for a home with children over the age of 10, and he is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Teddy is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Teddy can be a bit of a counter-surfer and will benefit from continued guidance and correction. He also pulls on the leash when excited and needs someone who can work with him on consistent leash manners. He may have some herding-breed traits and will need a home that can support his higher physical activity and mental stimulation needs. It will require time, patience, and routine for Teddy to adjust to a new environment and settle into his new home.
