Despite his rough start, he hasn’t let it dim his joyful spirit. He’s ready to leave the past behind and find a family who will love and care for him forever. Ideal Home
Dowdy would do best in a home with older kids who can handle his strength and enthusiasm, especially when he gets excited.
Ongoing Health
All dogs are current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.

- The adoption fee for this pet is $200 plus a sponsored transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old.
- The adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call.
- We reserve the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Adoptions are not on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals.
Transportation
Dowdy is located in a foster home in Fort Worth, Texas, but is available for transport. Dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by Wags. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
