Cash is a 2-year-old Blue Tick Coonhound mix, weighing about 65 lbs. He's a confident, social, and loving boy with a big heart and a goofy personality. Cash perfectly balances being an adventure buddy with being a couch nap partner. He truly enjoys being around people and is always ready for his next walk, game of fetch, or snack break. Cash makes fast friends and greets everyone with a happy, eager attitude. He's energetic and playful but also knows how to relax and settle in for some well-deserved downtime after exercise – think active best friend by day, nap enthusiast by afternoon!
Ideal Home
Cash does well with children and enjoys being part of the action. While he enjoys other dogs, he doesn't necessarily need another dog in the home to be happy. He could live with a dog with proper introductions, but he'd also thrive as someone's one-and-only adventure companion. Due to his high prey drive, Cash cannot live in a home with cats. He would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely stretch his legs and explore. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pet and family.

Training & Support
Cash is mostly potty trained and crate trained, though he may whine a little at first when crated. He is learning his leash manners and can pull occasionally, but he is very manageable with consistency and gentle guidance. He responds well to positive reinforcement and enjoys learning when treats are involved. As a smart, active hound with a high prey drive, Cash will need a home committed to structured exercise and continued training.

Transporation
Cash is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue. Transports depart each week.
