JESSIE

Jessie is a sweet old soul who is ready to find her forever home! She was found as a stray and thankfully, she and her puppies were brought to safety. Her babies have all found their happily ever afters, and now it's Jessie's turn! When Jessie first arrived, she had a very nasty eye. After consulting with a specialist, it was decided that removing the eye would be best for her long-term health and comfort. Her remaining eye has some vision, but it's not perfect. However, once she learns her surroundings, you'd never know she has a visual impairment! She is on two eye drops daily for life. Jessie is estimated to be around 8 years old and is a true hound at heart – she absolutely loves her food! She's also become quite fond of walks and is a dream to walk on a leash.

Ideal Home

Jessie would love a home where she can continue to enjoy her meals and her walks. With her vision impairment, a home where she can learn her environment without too many sudden changes would be ideal.

Jessie requires two types of eye drops daily for life.

Training & Support

Jessie is a food-motivated girl and enjoys her walks. She's a pleasure to walk on leash and will likely adapt well to new environments once she has a chance to get acquainted.
