Meet Chanel, a resilient and sweet 3 to 4-year-old terrier mix with a heart of gold. She had a rough start, being abandoned and ending up on a euthanasia list in a New Mexico shelter. Thankfully, she was rescued and brought to Texas, where she has blossomed into an energetic and happy dog. She's even a hero in her own right, donating blood to help other animals in need! While her transformation is incredible, she's still a work in progress and looking for a special family to help her continue to heal and trust. She loves toys and balls, especially soft squeakers, but is still learning how to play with them. Chanel can be a bit flinchy if hands come toward her too quickly, so she needs a gentle and understanding home where she can feel safe and take things at her own pace.

Transporation
Chanel is located in Texas. Transportation is available to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH, LA. AZ is coming soon. Specific pickup locations and times will be determined. The adoption and transportation fee ranges from $100-$500, with private custom transport routes available upon request. Texas adopters have a flat rate fee of $250 for in-state transport. Transport vehicles are equipped with air conditioning and onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You can follow your pet's journey on a private Facebook event page with photos, updates, and communication. Our Adoption Coordinator will help you find the closest transport pickup location. For those picking up in Angleton, Texas, there is a $75 fee which includes all vetting (DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, micro-chipping), a collar, and many years of love and laughter.
