Hi, I’m Oklahoma, but my foster family calls me Oki! I'm a sweet and snuggly guy who just loves to be by my person's side, especially on the couch. I'm also a bit of a character! I'm very communicative and will let you know if I'm not a fan of something with a little grumble. I'm great with humans and my canine pals, and I'm already house-trained and don't chew things, so no crate needed for me! My favorite pastime is de-stuffing my toys, and I also enjoy car rides and walks. I love children, but I'd do best with older kids who can understand my unique way of communicating.

Ideal Home

A family or person of my own where I can share all my love and snuggles. I would do best with older children who understand my communication style.

Ongoing Health

I have allergies that make me a bit itchy, but a daily Apoquel keeps me comfortable, and I happily take my medication with a pill pocket treat! I am part of our Senior Soulmates Program, and if adopted by a senior citizen, a generous donor will sponsor my adoption fee. All our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. If over 6 months old, they are also heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

I am house-trained and do not chew things. I communicate my needs clearly with my foster family.

• An approved application is required to meet me.
• We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.
• We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out.

Transporation

I am currently in the Dayton, OH area. We adopt within a 2-hour radius of Dayton, OH, and offer transport within this area. If you are outside this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
