Dunne

Meet Dunne! This handsome fellow originally came to us from Afghanistan and is now looking for a patient and loving family to help him continue building his confidence. Dunne can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he feels safe and trusts you, his sweet and affectionate personality truly shines through. He's a playful and energetic boy who loves to have fun and run around. Dunne does well with other dogs and might even benefit from having a confident canine companion at home to show him the ropes and help him feel more secure.

Ideal Home

Dunne would thrive in a home without young children, as he's still learning to navigate the world and doesn't always realize his size. He can become nervous when encountering new dogs on walks and sometimes puts on a "big-dog act" to feel safe, something his foster family is actively helping him work through.

Ongoing Health

Dunne takes daily anxiety medication to help him feel his best, and he takes it like a champ!

Training & Support

While Dunne is still learning, his foster family is working with him on his confidence around new dogs on walks. He may not be the dog for busy outings or crowded dog parks, but he is eager to be a loyal companion.

• Adoption fee: $425.00
• Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
