About JR

JR is a 3-year-old neutered male Lab/Pit mix who weighs 65 lbs. He was transferred to us from an overcrowded shelter in Puerto Rico after being found abandoned as a puppy. JR is timid, gentle, and sweet. He can be shy when he first meets new people but quickly warms up with treats and gentle handling. He is crate trained, seems to be house trained, and is working on his manners. JR is such a sweet soul who will blossom into a great canine companion if given the chance.

JR would benefit from living with a confident canine companion who can show him the ropes.

JR is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and appears to be healthy.

JR is crate trained and appears to be house trained. He is currently working on his manners and will continue to benefit from gentle training and positive reinforcement.
