Meet Theo!
This tiny little survivor has already overcome more in his first five weeks of life than most dogs ever should. Theo is an adorable 5-week-old 2lb Chihuahua mix (our best guess!) who is expected to stay a small boy. He was found completely alone, covered in fleas, and in heartbreaking condition. Despite everything he's been through, Theo has proven just how resilient little puppies can be. Now safe in foster care, he's getting the love, good food, and medical care he needed all along. Every day, Theo grows a little stronger and a little more confident. He's starting to discover how wonderful life can be snuggling into soft blankets, enjoying full meals, and soaking up all the affection his foster family has to offer. Like any puppy his age, he's curious about the world and is beginning to explore it one tiny step at a time. Though his start in life was difficult, Theo's future is looking bright. All he needs now is a family to show him that he'll never be alone again. In return, you'll gain a loyal little best friend who will fill your home with love, laughter, and endless cuddles.

Theo is still very young and will need to continue with his age-appropriate veterinary care and vaccinations.
Training & Support
Theo will need help with crate training, house training, leash walking, socialization, and learning all the puppy basics. With patience, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement, he'll blossom into a wonderful lifelong companion.

Transporation
Theo is being fostered in Houston, Texas. He will be available for adoption in many locations across the country once he is old enough to travel. The adoption fee includes transport, so if you're seeing this post, there's likely a transport option near you!
