Tyson

Tyson is a small to medium-sized, black, male Spitz/Terrier mix weighing 30-35 lbs. He was rescued from a shelter to avoid euthanasia and, due to a rescuer's illness, is in desperate need of a loving home. When Tyson first arrived, he was quite scared and wary of people reaching over his head. However, he's a smart boy and is very close to being housebroken. He loves going for walks, which are more like energetic sprints for his little legs with people he feels comfortable with! Tyson is full of fun and life, capable of lightening up any room and heart.

Ideal Home

Tyson would thrive in a home where he can share his boundless energy with other dogs who can match his enthusiasm and tolerate his play style. Due to his high energy levels and initial uncertainty with new people, homes with children are not recommended. He is also not a good fit for homes with cats, as he considers himself a professional cat investigator.

Ongoing Health

Tyson has been neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Tyson is very close to being housebroken and is intelligent enough to quickly learn new things. He needs a patient adopter who can help him build confidence with new people.
