Meet Abby! This sweet Staffordshire Terrier/American Bully mix is 4 years old and weighs 64lbs. Abby is spayed, fully vaccinated, and up to date on her monthly preventatives. She has a calm and gentle soul, but also loves to have fun! Abby enjoys spending time with her foster sister, meeting new dogs with a happy wag and a smile, and is great at reading other dogs' body language. While she can be a little jealous at times, she's respectful and easygoing, making her a good candidate to be an only dog or to live with a well-matched canine companion. Abby also gets the zoomies sometimes, showing off her playful side! She is fully potty trained, crate trained, and even puts herself to bed in her crate. She settles in beautifully when left alone. Abby is not showing any signs of resource guarding or food aggression, enjoys leisurely walks, handles stairs well, and rides nicely in the car, though it's not her favorite activity. Abby's favorite thing is to be a cuddle bug and believes she's a lap dog, despite her size. She is independent, curious, smart, loyal, and wonderfully calm. Thunderstorms can be scary for her, so she'll seek out a quiet, safe spot until they pass. We don't have any history of Abby living with cats or young children, so a home with older, dog-savvy kids (10+) would be ideal.

- Once your initial screen is complete, you will be connected for a video chat.
- Transports run every few weeks and approved dogs will be on the next available transport. If you cannot accept a dog until a specific time, please apply at that time.
- This is a volunteer-run rescue, and we ask that you are serious about moving forward in our adoption process. Please ensure all decision-makers are on board before applying.
Transporation
Abby is currently in foster care. Transport is available to approved adopters every few weeks.
