About Lefou

Meet Lefou! This delightful 6-month-old shepherd mix, weighing around 42 lbs, is the perfect blend of playful energy and calm affection. Lefou adores his canine companions and would thrive in a home with a furry friend of similar size or larger, ready for wrestling, chasing, and joyful play. When he's not romping, Lefou is a sweet boy who enjoys relaxing nearby after a good cuddle. He's a smart cookie, highly food-motivated, and has already mastered 'sit,' 'stay,' and 'lay down,' with an eagerness to learn more. Lefou also enjoys enrichment activities like puzzle toys and snuffle mats – just be sure to keep those treats hidden, as he's quite clever! He's fully potty and crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night, making him an easy and wonderful addition to any home. Lefou is currently working on his leash training, which he finds a bit scary, but with patience and positive reinforcement, he's making great progress. He's gentle with both children and adults but can be a bit shy with new people. Lefou would do best with a family who will allow him to warm up at his own pace, build trust through treats and affection, and continue his socialization efforts.

Ideal Home

Lefou would thrive in a home with at least one other playful dog of similar size or larger. He needs a family committed to going at his pace when meeting new people and continuing his socialization.
