Ongoing Health

All rescue dogs receive medical care before adoption and are placed only after they are ready for a home. This includes being spayed or neutered (if age-appropriate), fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, maintained on heartworm prevention, treated for fleas and ticks, and dewormed as needed.

Training & Support

Assume potty training is still in progress unless specifically stated otherwise. Many rescue dogs come from difficult backgrounds and may need patience, consistency, and training in their new home.

• Our volunteer team reviews all applications carefully.
• Dogs are matched based on the best fit, not first-come, first-served.
• Application review can take up to 10 days, and sometimes longer depending on volume.

Transporation

Odin is currently being fostered in Adair County, KY. Transport is available for approved adopters in select locations, including:

• Greenwood, Indiana
• Wilmington, Ohio
• Washington, Pennsylvania
• Bordentown, New Jersey

Transport is available only after application approval, deposit payment, and a signed transport agreement.
