Chacha is a three-year-old, 63-pound white and black APBT mix. This sweet girl was a volunteer favorite, where her affectionate personality and soft eyes quickly won people over. Chacha can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but give her a minute and she transforms into a lean-in-for-cuddles kind of companion who simply wants to be close to her person. She walks beautifully on a leash, moving along like the polite princess of the sidewalk. Whether it's a stroll around the neighborhood, a hike up the mountain, or a relaxing afternoon together, Chacha is happiest when she's sharing moments with someone she trusts. She LOVES to play fetch and is a CHAMPION tennis ball retriever! She even brings it back and drops it, waiting for another throw! While at the county shelter, Chacha was attacked by another dog and suffered several cuts and punctures. The experience left her shaken, but she is great with other dogs and shows just how resilient a dog can be. Chacha is in a foster home right now, learning all the ropes of home life and working to gain weight back. She went from 48lbs to 63lbs; fostering truly saves lives! She is very quiet and never barks.
