Hula Hoop

Meet Hula Hoop! This sweet 9-year-old Miniature Pinscher mix is a true survivor. She came to us from a hoarding situation where she was neglected and significantly overweight, earning her the fitting name "Hula Hoop." After a dedicated weight loss journey, she's now a healthy 12.8 lbs and ready for a fresh start. Her bloodwork is perfect, and she's spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and potty trained. Hula is a bit shy at first and takes time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she showers you with love and joy, wagging her whole body! She's eagerly waiting for her forever home and a new name.

Ideal Home

Hula is looking for a patient adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to feel secure. She seems to prefer female humans and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, as her forearms/wrists were damaged from past neglect, making long leashed walks difficult. She does well with other dogs but would prefer a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Hula is in excellent health. All her necessary medical procedures are complete, and her bloodwork is normal.

Training & Support

Hula is potty trained and ready to be your loyal companion. Her adopters should be aware of her past neglect and be patient as she builds trust. Once she bonds with you, her affection is boundless.
