About Bonita

Hiya Friends! My name is Bonita, and I'm a beautiful 2-year-old female German Shepherd looking for my forever home. I was mistreated in my past life, but thanks to the amazing folks at IDGSR, I'm now healthy and ready to find a loving family. I'm a smart, energetic, and resilient girl who wants to be by your side for all of life's adventures, whether it's hiking, exploring, or just hanging out in the yard.

Ideal Home

I would do best in a home with kids 10 and older, and I get along well with large dogs. I absolutely cannot live with cats. I have high energy and will need a family committed to providing me with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, and monthly preventatives, and I have been spayed.

Training & Support

I'm a young pup who's eager to learn! I need full obedience training, but I'm a quick study, especially if you have cheese or hot dogs. I love to play with other dogs and would enjoy a canine companion to share zoomie tag sessions.
