About Gelato

Life is sweeter with a scoop of Gelato, and lucky for you, I come in a 41.5-pound, tail-wagging package! I'm Gelato, a 6-month-old Labrador Retriever mix bursting with happy puppy energy, goofy charm, and just the right amount of chaos. Think of me as your favorite frozen treat: fun, irresistible, and guaranteed to put a smile on your face. I'm a specialty in making people laugh; I can be delightfully derpy and occasionally get so excited that I trip over my own feet. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's equal parts lovable, goofy, playful, and adorable, I might be the perfect scoop for your family. Bring the patience, the routine, and the toys, and I'll bring the fun, the laughs, and a whole lot of love!

Ideal Home

I'll need a family that's ready to give me patience, structure, and a consistent routine while I figure out this whole "being a well-mannered dog" thing. Because I have lots of energy to burn, I'll need a fenced yard where I can run, play, and get my zoomies out. Apartment life isn't really my style; I'm a little too enthusiastic and noisy for close neighbors. I'd much rather have space to stretch my legs and enjoy being a puppy. I get along well with older children who can handle my playful puppy antics, and I can live with cats if they're dog-savvy and don't mind a youngster who thinks everyone wants to play. One thing that would make my life extra sweet is having another dog in the home. A canine buddy can help teach me good dog manners, show me the ropes, and help me burn off some of my endless puppy energy.

Ongoing Health

My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip.

Training & Support

As a growing puppy, I'm still learning the basics of house training, crate training, and leash walking. I am doing great with house breaking but still need work on my leash skills.
