Luna

Luna is a 7-year-old, 70 lb female Siberian Husky who came to us as a stray on Christmas Day. She is a sweet, calm, and gentle girl who is now ready for her second chance at a loving home. Luna is proving to be every bit as wonderful as we hoped. She is confident enough to give a few appropriate corrections to other dogs when needed, and she is very treat motivated – Charlie Bears may have already won her heart! Luna does great in a crate, is an excellent car rider, and loves people, constantly checking in to make sure everyone is okay. She gives the best kisses and has developed a little crush on her foster packmate, Marshall, following him around everywhere. Luna is proof that not all Huskies are high-energy dogs; she can be calm, gentle, and affectionate, perfectly content just being part of a family.

Ideal Home

Luna is getting along wonderfully with her foster pack and has shown affection towards her foster's son. She seems to thrive in a home with other dogs and people.

Luna came in as a stray and no prior health history is known.

Training & Support

Luna is very treat motivated, which will be a great asset in her training. She is already showing us her wonderful personality as she decompressess in her foster home.
