Leela Lou is believed to be a pit bull/lab mix, around 3 years old and weighs 55 lbs. As with any rescue, breed and age are not guaranteed. She absolutely adores people and doesn't know the meaning of the word "stranger." She greets everyone with enthusiastic kisses and is the happiest little butterball you'll ever meet. If you love to entertain, Leela is the perfect companion for parties and gatherings. She thrives as the center of attention, a true social butterfly who makes everyone feel welcome. She knows when to be social and when to relax, happy to snuggle up with guests or entertain herself with her favorite toys.
Ideal Home
Leela would thrive in a home where she can be your one and only fur baby, soaking up all the love and companionship you have to offer. She would also do best in a home with a backyard for zoomies and playtime.
Ongoing Health
Leela is up-to-date on all her vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. She is microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Leela is crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands like "sit." She is eager to please and motivated by treats, making any future training a breeze.

Leela is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
