Tiger Lily

Tiger Lily is a beautiful 4-year-old female Pit Bull Terrier mix who came to us on March 4, 2026, from the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden. She was initially on a Safe-Keeping status, as her owner was expected to reclaim her. Tiger Lily has short brown fur with a small white patch on her chest, a long tail, and an adorable face with cute forehead wrinkles, golden brown eyes, a slender muzzle, a liver-colored nose, and semi-erect ears. She weighs approximately 50 lbs. Unfortunately, her owner never reclaimed her, and her status was changed to adoptable on June 7, 2026.

Tiger Lily has become a favorite of some of our volunteers, who enjoy taking her out for walks to let her stretch her legs and get some exercise. Like many shelter dogs, she gets very excited and energetic on leash when she first gets out for her walk, but she soon settles into a more reasonable pace after her initial burst of energy. She loves her human friends but is selective about which dogs she chooses to befriend. She definitely does not include cats in her circle of friends.

Ideal Home

Tiger Lily would do best in a home where she can get plenty of exercise and attention. She is selective with other dogs and does not get along with cats.

Ongoing Health

Tiger Lily will be spayed before she is officially adopted.

Training & Support

Tiger Lily can be energetic on leash but settles down nicely after a short burst of excitement.
