El

El is a sweet and resilient girl who was found abandoned on the streets of Dallas with a fractured leg and a litter of puppies. Despite her tough start, she was a wonderful mother to her pups, and now it's her turn to find a loving forever home. El is a gentle soul who enjoys playing outdoors and prances with pride in her colorful outfits. While she can be a bit uncertain around sudden movements or loud noises, she is learning to trust and seeks out comfort from her humans. She walks well on a leash and is both potty and crate trained. El is a quick learner and thrives on reassurance. She loves cuddles, playing with her foster siblings, and is eager to learn that humans offer kindness and affection.

Ideal Home

El would thrive in a predictable household where she can adjust to changes at her own pace. She is dog and cat friendly and absolutely needs to be in a home with another dog to help her feel secure. She needs a patient family who will continue to help her build trust and understand that outstretched hands mean treats and love, not harm.

Ongoing Health

El's leg healed well from its fracture, and she shows no lingering issues.

Training & Support

El is potty and crate trained. She is learning to trust humans and may still be a bit timid around loud noises or sudden movements. Continued positive reinforcement and gentle reassurance will be key to her continued confidence.

• Adoption interviews are conducted via video call.
• Our out-of-state adoption fee is $350 plus transport. This fee includes vaccinations, deworming, microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter (if over 6 months), and a heartworm test. All dogs will be up-to-date on flea and heartworm prevention and will have a veterinary health exam within 10 days of transport.

Transportation

El is currently fostered in Texas but is available for transport to an agreed-upon location.
