What's up, future family? My name is Rowdy, and I'm just a little guy with a big heart, a love for ice cream, and a talent for burrowing under the covers. I'm also the best kisser in the tri-state area! If you don't like puppy smooches, we might have a problem.
I can be shy at first and need time to warm up to new people. Loud noises and sudden movements aren't my thing. But once I trust you, I'm the clingiest, coziest cuddlebug you've ever met. I love to snuggle under the covers, enjoy dog bars, and I will eat all the ice cream you allow me to have. I'm great with other dogs, especially chill ones, and I'm cool with cats as long as they don't mind me being a little too friendly. I have a tendency to "borrow" bones, so the concept of "forever" is flexible to me.
Ideal Home
A calm home where I can settle in at my own pace. I need people who understand that gaining my trust is like winning the lottery. A secure fence is a must, as I might try out for the doggy Olympics (fence-jumping edition) if I get scared. I would love an easygoing doggy sibling who doesn't mind sharing their snacks and showing me the ropes. I can do respectful, dog-savvy kids who know not to interrupt me during my beauty naps or when I'm hiding in my safe spot.
