Lobo is a stunning 2-year-old male husky, weighing approximately 56 lbs. He was found roaming the streets of South Texas, starving and with significant hair loss due to skin infections. Thankfully, he was taken in by a sanctuary and has since recovered beautifully. Lobo is now on the prowl for his forever home! He has gorgeous sky-blue eyes and is quite the conversationalist, always ready to "talk up a storm." Lobo is mildly active, enjoying outdoor play and sunbathing, but also loves to relax inside with his favorite person. He is very loyal and will cuddle up close. Lobo is crate trained and knows the word "kennel." With a bit of consistency and patience, he'll pick up other commands quickly, as he's a very smart boy. He also enjoys car rides! While vocal, Lobo is the biggest sweetheart and welcomes strangers with open paws.
Ideal Home
Lobo would do best with someone who loves the outdoors and wants a loyal companion to spend quality time with. He thrives on attention and doesn't like to be left alone.
Ongoing Health
Lobo is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and dewormer. He is microchipped. Lobo was heartworm positive but has received the 30-day course of antibiotics and needs to stay on heartworm prevention for 12-16 months and be retested. He will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.
Training & Support
Lobo is crate trained and knows the word "kennel." He is very intelligent and will learn other commands with consistency and patience.

Transportation
Lobo is currently located in South Texas. We do not adopt animals out in Texas. We adopt to the Central US and East Coast. Transport to the following locations is available every 2-3 weeks for an additional fee: Albany, NY; Wells, VT; Brattleboro, VT; Nashua, NH; Willington, CT; Stamford, CT; Dayville, CT; Steubenville, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Grove City, OH; Grove City, PA; Washington, PA; Ridgefield, NJ; Mt Laurel, NJ; Emmitsburg, MD; Elkton, MD; Falls Church, VA; and Glenn Allen, VA. With an approved application, you will be put in touch with the foster to ensure the dog is a perfect fit.
