My name is Fiona, and I'm an 11-week-old, 4.6 lb Chi-weenie (Chihuahua Dachshund) mix! Just like Princess Fiona from Shrek, I'm fierce, spicy, and love to be in charge. I'm a bundle of puppy energy, always ready with a wiggly butt, a playful spirit, and an adventurous heart. I'm looking for a human who will help me explore this big, exciting world. Don't worry, I promise not to be an ogre – my huge personality and dramatic flair are sure to bring endless laughter and entertainment!
Ideal Home
I can be quite vocal and tend to cry when left alone, so a single-family home would be ideal. I need lots of playtime and exercise to burn off my puppy energy. A home where someone is around most of the time would be perfect, especially as I'm still working on my potty training. When I do need to be alone, I'm happy to relax in a secure area after a day of fun.
Ongoing Health
I'm up to date on my vaccinations, but I will need boosters and my spay surgery when the time is right. These procedures are covered by my adoption donation and will be scheduled with Wags' vetting partner. I don't require extensive grooming, just regular nail trims and occasional baths to keep me looking and feeling my best. My floppy ears will need weekly cleaning to stay healthy.
Training & Support
I'm learning to be a good housemate and need a patient owner who can provide frequent and consistent potty breaks. I haven't experienced a leash yet, so that will be a new adventure to learn together! I am very food-motivated, which should make training a breeze. I tolerate car rides well. I'm still in my chewing phase, so please supervise me or keep me in a safe space when I'm not being watched.
