Reagan

Reagan is a one-year-old, 105-pound Anatolian Shepherd who came to us from a large hoarding situation. While the dogs were cared for, they missed out on crucial socialization and everyday home life. Reagan, however, has come through with a surprisingly good attitude and is the most confident dog from the entire group. He's still learning about household routines and unfamiliar noises, but he's ahead of the curve compared to others from his background. Reagan enjoys people, seeks attention, and is eager to engage. He's not a "project" in the scary sense, but rather a young, under-socialized giant breed who needs a patient, structured, and sensible adopter. He has a sweet, friendly nature and is clearly motivated to learn how to be a normal house dog, possessing the temperament to succeed.

Ideal Home

Reagan would benefit from a home with a confident, friendly dog who can be a positive role model. He is good with other dogs and cats. Due to his size and ongoing learning process, we recommend a home with children over 10. Adopters must be prepared for a large livestock guardian breed and a securely fenced yard is required.
