Genevieve

Meet Genevieve! This lovely 3-year-old Siberian Husky mix is a true beauty queen who has overcome a lot and is now ready to shower her new family with all the love and attention she has to give. She started her journey in a Houston kill shelter and has since undergone surgery to remove two cancerous tumors, one of which was quite large. While one tumor was benign, the other has an excellent prognosis for no reoccurrence. There are a few more that are not being touched, but she is not considered special needs beyond her strong desire for undivided attention.

Ideal Home

Genevieve needs to be the only pet in the household, as she thrives when she is the sole focus of her humans' affection.

Ongoing Health

Genevieve has had two cancerous tumors removed. One was benign, and the other has an 85% chance of no reoccurrence. There are a few other minor growths that are not being treated. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Genevieve can be a bit of a drama queen when she doesn't get her way, and she can be loud and mouthy. She needs a patient and devoted owner who is prepared to be her whole world. In return, she will offer unwavering love.
