Meet Hachi!

Hachi is a resilient and loving 2-year-old, 50 lb boy who has truly blossomed since being rescued from a hoarding situation. For most of his life, he lived in an outdoor kennel, missing out on the simple joys of a loving home. Despite his past, Hachi's spirit remained soft, and he is now a total love bug eager to share his affection. He greets everyone with a wagging tail and a gentle nature, and he's wonderful with kids and people of all kinds. Hachi cherishes the things many dogs take for granted, like belly rubs, a cozy bed, and quality time with his family. He's crate trained, potty trained, and rides great in the car, making him a perfect adventure buddy. Hachi is a medium-energy boy, happy to play and then relax by your side. He's still working on gaining weight and aims to reach a healthy 60 lbs, so he'll appreciate some extra treats!

Ideal Home

Hachi is looking for a home where he is included, cherished, and loved. He does best with slow introductions to other dogs and tends to thrive with confident canine companions.

Hachi is currently working on gaining weight after years of being underfed. His target weight is around 60 lbs.

Training & Support

Hachi is crate trained and potty trained. He can be a bit of a "big tough guy" with more timid dogs, so confident canine friends are recommended.
