Meet Remington!

Remi is a 5-year-old Australian Shepherd who weighs a hefty 102 pounds. He came to us when his previous family had to rehome him due to a divorce. Despite his current size, Remi is otherwise healthy and has a heart full of love to give. He's loyal, cuddly, smart, and always alert, embodying the best of his breed. His foster family has him on a healthy diet and exercise plan to help him reach his ideal weight of around 60 pounds. He loves his walks and is eager to be active!

Ideal Home

Remi would thrive in a home that is committed to helping him manage his weight and embrace an active lifestyle. He loves kids and gets along well with dogs and cats.

Ongoing Health

Remi is currently overweight and working towards a healthier weight. He is otherwise healthy and has no known medical conditions.

Training & Support

Remi already knows "sit" and "hug" and is a well-behaved boy. He can be a little protective of his food around other dogs, so feeding him separately is recommended for now. He enjoys toys and playing fetch.
