Chanco

Chancho is a handsome Retriever mix with a heart of gold! This approximately 3-year-old, 50lb bundle of joy was rescued from a high-kill shelter and is now looking for his forever family. He's full of intelligence and life, and has proven to be an excellent companion in his foster home. Chancho is very social and enjoys playing with other dogs. He's an active young adult who would love an owner who enjoys an active lifestyle. During the summer, he discovered a love for water and could be found happily splashing in the farm horse water trough on warm days. Most of all, Chancho adores people and is eager to interact with his humans, making him an ideal hiking or walking partner.

Chancho is looking for a home that does not have cats, as he can be a little too interested in them.
