Garlic

Garlic is a wonderfully friendly, approximately 3-year-old, 50 lb bundle of energy looking for a long-term foster or forever home! He's incredibly intelligent and food-motivated, making him a super trainable companion who would likely excel in activities like agility or anything that challenges his sharp mind.

Ideal Home

Garlic thrives in an active home, or one with a securely fenced yard (at least 6 feet high) and resident dogs who enjoy playing. He needs a canine friend who is tolerant of his exuberant, younger-dog mindset, as he can get a bit too excited and doesn't always grasp corrections when playing. Due to his exuberance, Garlic is not a good fit for homes with small children. If there are older children in the home, they must be actively involved in his training from day one. He is also not a good match for homes with cats.

Garlic is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Garlic is working on managing his excitement and needs continued training. His intelligence and food motivation make him a joy to train, and he's eager to learn!
