Tia (waiting for over a year)

Tia has been waiting over a year for her forever home, and we can't understand why! She's a resilient, smart, happy, energetic, athletic, and incredibly people-pleasing girl who would make an amazing companion. Black dogs often get overlooked, but Tia has so much love to give.

She's a playful and energetic retriever who adores a good game of fetch. Tia is also very affectionate and loves to spend quality time with her people. She's a quick learner and seems to genuinely enjoy training sessions, especially since she's so treat-motivated!

Ideal Home

Tia would thrive in a home where she can be the only pet, receiving all the one-on-one attention she deserves. She's looking for an experienced dog owner who wants a dog that thrives on engagement and will be her best friend.

Ongoing Health

Tia is current on all her vetting and is ready for her forever family.

Training & Support

Tia does guard her food with other dogs. To manage this, she is currently fed separately. She is already doggie door trained and eager to learn anything new you want to teach her!

Transportation

Tia is currently located in South Mississippi but will be transported to Brattleboro, VT, for adopters in New Hampshire. We personally transport our adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to various states, including VT.
